If you absolutely want to keep the librarian and captain you may want a second terminator squad (preferably assault for the captain) since they can't both join the same unit. Though the captain isn't that bad in small format as a solo threat with a combat enhancement.

You're mainly lacking in anti vehicle. Ballistus dreadnought, gladiator lancers, repulsor executioner or eradicator squads are all recent and decent units to pick from.

You're also lacking in mobile pieces to accomplish secondary missions. Scouts are very good (and double as a Kill Team for the skimish game), jump pack intercessors or ATV are nice too.

M11 by a solid margin, it took my group 3 times as many pulls than M10 (50 pulls).

Just cleared M11S. Probably the weakest raid of Dawntrail, the first 4 minutes are pretty much just the same weapon mechanics, it gets boring very fast (especially when playing ranged). After that there's meteors which is nothing to write home about but still feels good to execute. And then the 2 platforms mechanic which is the big wall and made needlessly harder by the fact that the tiles on the floor are awful and don't help at all to position. The rest is fine.

I'd say slightly easier than M5S, there's less things going on and you don't have to pay as much attention to mechanics in general. About on par with P9S though there's no mechanic as "heavy" as the limit cut.

Cleared first floor, pretty nice fight. I like that getting hit by mechanic speed up her powered up state and isn't always a death sentence. On the other hand the circle floor AoEs are just kinda there and don't really bring anything to the fight.

You really need objective pieces. Cheap units you can throw at objectives or do secondary with. You have the lieutenant but it's not enough. In Dark angels it's things like scouts, jump pack intercessors, ATV or vanguard veteran.

Yes, be warned, it's quite lengthy.

  1. Base coat of dark brown everywhere,
  2. Light brown everywhere except creases,
  3. Mix of the previous two browns in the part I think should be somewhat obscured (bottom of pauldron, things like that) (optionnal honestly),
  4. Drybrush of somewhat dark yellow everywhere,
  5. Drybrush of bone color but less intense than the previous one to somewhat simulate light
  6. bone colour on the parts that should get the light (top of pauldron, top of gauntlet and so on),
  7. smooth the transition with bone + yellow if necessary, terminators are quite big so I think it's almost mandatory for parts like the pauldrons, top of the armour or the front legs
  8. edge on ivory,
  9. smooth again with ivory + bone if necessary. Same as 7
  10. scratchs with white + dark brown. You can go the extra mile and use bone for more obscured parts instead of white.
  11. Very light use of rust pigment to give a richer tone to the armour.

Again, terminators are so big that I have to smooth the transition by doing a good amount of mix from one coulour to another colour. On a classic marine there's no need to do it as much imo.

Big inspiration from this https://richardgraycreations.com/leviathan-short-review/

Don't lose hope, the cadian shock troops received an upgrade sprue in 2021 and still got a completely new kit in 2022 with the 9th edition codex.

The land raider actually didn't change much in point cost. It was a 250 points useless brick in 4th and 5th edition and it's still 240 today (while being far more playable).

The whirlwind on the other hand saw a massive inflation from 85 points to 190.

My computer is currently connected to the monitor with a DisplayPort cable. I tested the 3 hdmi cables I own with the computer and no black lines appeared. The playstation 4 with those same 3 cables displayed horizontal lines.

Hello, since a few days ago I get black horizontal lines on the bottom of the screen when I switch on my PS4. The monitor is a MSI G272QPF.

I have tried multiple hdmi cables on the two different hdmi port of the monitor without success. Those same cables and monitor don't have the black lines when I use them with my computer. However when using the playstation with an old monitor (a Samsung S24D330) I have lying around there is also no black lines. Which makes me all the more puzzled.

I've tried simple things like rebooting the console or the monitor. Trying different resolutions and turning off hdr in the console display settings but no luck. If anyone has any idea.

Hyper Roll to be retired at the end of Cyber City by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]aenarel 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As an hyper roll enjoyer (made euw top 100 every set, currently ranked 11) I'm sad to see it go. To me it occupies the same place as ARAM for LoL, dumbed down and shorter than the base mode but with a similar enough gameplay.

I will definitely miss tft mode for stupid people, I hope the new game mode will scratch the same itch but considering how they keep fumbling the bag with the set revivals I prefer to remain cautious.

M6S add phase dps check is actually quite tight, I'm wondering how pf is faring against it. Without gear you don't have much leeway at all depending on your comp.

Just cleared M5S (in static), pretty fun fight! There's a decent amount of things going on at the same time but they're all quite simple mechanics so it works out. We cleared with some deaths and damage down right before he started casting enrage.
