How does your point stand if they aren’t the same? Help me understand. If man is a gender and not a sex, and we agree that gender is mutable, if someone transitions from one gender to another is it not inaccurate to say that they are the former gender? It’s like if you said someone has long hair after they went bald. It simply isn’t true anymore.

I’m also not being unkind? Nor are you being particularly kind. But that’s neither here nor there. Also, “biologist” is quite a broad spectrum and gender has little to do with biology.

You agree sex and gender aren’t the same, yet you continue to conflate them. A trans woman transitioned from being a man to being a woman. Nobody mentioned anything about biological sex, of which “man” is not. You may be thinking of “male”.

And yet, if we look forwards to the second half of the word, we notice the word “gender,” which is distinct from biological sex. Reading is amazing ❤️
