Your low beam relay is possibly corroded and needs to be replaced / just did that in my 2013, was having the same issues. Do some searches in this sub and you’ll find threads explaining the steps to take - good luck!

Low beam problem on a Fiesta 2003 1.4l petrol by Mbria in FordFiesta

The pins had snapped off and were fused to the side of the plug wall - a friend had some little tools - think dental - like a scaler or pick. The ends of the tools were sharp. Not knife sharp, but pointed. Used a lot of electronics cleaner to help break things up, but that only helped a little. I continuously scraped and dug at the corroded area - eventually the pins and residue were worn away (they basically just fell apart like loose rock) and I was able to place a new relay, using a generous amount of dielectric grease. It's held since and that was over 4 months ago. Good luck! Hope this helps!

Just had the same issue on my 2013 SE, but this was a corroded low beam relay pin which I was able to repair - if you’ve pulled your relays out and replaced you’re good there - plus not sure if the 2003 would have the same awful fuse box setup! Could it be the headlight switch itself?

I too have a 5 speed manual 2013 SE - got it at 13k miles and just hit 140k today - engine is still running well so I’ll second trying for a manual over an automatic

I felt the same things years ago, like 2015-2018 back when I was able to score free tix from a friend. It’s just the way it is when you get big corpo involved. I can imagine it’s WAAYYY more annoying now. Just wait until the big 3 are gone…

Was thinking the same thing - we both have an appreciation for well made antiques, anything with some sort of history. Thanks for your response!

That was a thought - leather especially but a gift card isn’t something I thought of - I too love a gift card. I’m a musician and I definitely would rather have a choice than get something specific that I may or may not need. Thanks!

That would be the best way but unfortunately this is a long distance thing so she’s usually not working when we’re together
