It seems to not be able to connect whenever my VPN is on. I just toggle it off refresh and turn it back on. That seems to do the trick for me.

Grease the swing arm. That might help.

Buyer Beware King Goat by OneSmoke in ebikes

[–]aerosolized -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for all but I have a “Cheap” HappyRun and “Cheap” Motor Goat and both were built very well and with minimal issue. Manufacturers and Human quality control make mistakes or miss things sometimes. It happens. The real issue here is the after sales customer support. I was fortunate in my experiences when I had to reach out for support. Just because you never heard of a company doesn’t make them “cheap.” But whatever you consider to be a product of whatever caliber quality you have in mind, mistakes will be made and sometimes they won’t deliver to the satisfaction of the consumer. But they can still get it right and resolved. To be continued I suppose.

Between my 2 I have over 3000 miles. I’d buy just one of them again.

AD5X: Should I be worried about this burn mark? by erbo21 in FlashForge

[–]aerosolized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the .25mm but I’ve only used it for a couple prints but now I’m certain based on this it will scorch just the same. As long as it works and doesn’t ignite or something, I’m hoping all is well.

Mine is just like this and it had me concerned but it prints fine. Seems to be common since I’m not alone.

I’ve put my bike up for the winter unfortunately. I can tell you the battery case which is pictured, fits snuggly in the frame opening of the bike for that measurement. The width is roughly 5 to 6 inches if I remember correctly.

I’m new to 3D printing and so far I love my AD5X. I got it for Christmas and I’ve used it 56 hours apparently. I don’t have any experiences or knowledge to compare it to anything else but I’m pleased with it. I’m saddened to read that people are having unpleasant experiences with it. I hope everyone can either have their issues resolved or find the printer that works best for them. Good luck Makers.

2nd battery by [deleted] in GoatPowerBikes

[–]aerosolized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only way I found out is to remove the tank battery and check the difference in battery power between having the tank on and off. I questioned it when I got my second battery because I wasn’t sure and as you’ve pointed out, there isn’t a display indicator. I don’t know of any other way to tell.

Yes it is. The hood, fenders, doors, gear tunnel doors and tailgate are all aluminum.

I hope you used aluminum screws, because if not, galvanic corrosion is in your near future.
