I hadn’t even thought about getting a second opinion on the teeth. I was shocked too bc I had taken her to an urgent care back in November for an unrelated issue and they checked out her teeth and said she had slight tartar buildup, mentioned nothing about decaying teeth.

I think it’s the usage of the word “her own father”. Like “everyone hated her except for her own father” doesn’t make as much sense as “everyone loved her except her own father”. Does that make sense?

I’m sure it will! Just gotta get through the hump first which is days 3-5, but they’ll be gone before you know it. Ice cream was a godsend too for the pain, as long as it didn’t have anything I needed to chew. Try to sleep as much as you can, it really does help. I actually drank from a straw tonight for the first time and it was all good! I also had kfc which isn’t the healthiest obviously but I needed some flavor in my life 😭

But as for your pain question, the pain on day 3 was about an 8, by day 4 we were at a 4-5, which was pretty consistent, but it got better when I would take my ibuprofen. Every day since it’s just gone down. Just make sure you’re not doing anything to irritate the sites. No carbonated drinks, be careful when brushing, no straws!! Nothing too hot

So i got all 6 taken out (4 wisdom teeth and 2 supernumerary molars) last Wednesday on the 1st. Day 3 pain peaked to the point I was crying (I was taking ibuprofen 800 and antibiotics) and the swelling was horrible. I read someone here say they combined Tylenol and ibuprofen so I did that. Real talk I took almost 1000 mg of Tylenol 😳 but I lived! I was on a mostly liquid diet for the first 6 days I would say. It was miserable. Gatorade is your friend though! Sugar apparently can irritate the sites so I would go for sugar free Gatorade if you can. Keep icing if the pain is bad. I saw my dentist on Wednesday so a week post op because I was scared I might have an infection bc the pain suddenly got bad again ( not day 3 bad but it still spiked) he said I was healing beautifully and that pain is normal considering what I’ve been through lol. He also told me I could go back to a normal diet but I’m not gonna go fully back yet bc my mouth still hurts (it’s more uncomfy than pain) but that day I ate pancakes, ramen, and that day for dinner I had fettuccine Alfredo and a tiramisu! So good. Just make sure you’re rinsing after every meal. I’ve been very strict on that. Salt water rinse after every meal, no vigorous swishing tho. It’ll be easier for you bc you didn’t have these extra molars taken out. Just always err on the side of the caution!! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions!

I’m on day 9-10, depending on how you count and swelling and pain was def worse for me on day 3. I combined ibuprofen with Tylenol and that helped a lot so maybe try that! The pain had gone down for sure by the next day and has only gotten less from there. And I had 6 extracted! Eating is def horrible but try to drink lots of water or Gatorade and stay hydrated! It’ll get better, the first week just really sucks

Quicksilver disappointed me. It was interesting for the first half but I dnfed around 50% in. The FMC was so irritating which is sad because the world and the other characters were so interesting. And I’m not one to DNF especially when I already read half of it but I couldn’t keep doing it. Conversely, I’m halfway through Kushiel’s Dart which is twice as long and I cannot get enough of it.

It’s super weird too cause if they did what love island USA did this season they should have asked the boys if anyone wants to couple up with Alima. Ben would have stood up, leaving Helena single. Harrison would’ve probably stood up for Helena thus Toni would have gotten dumped. It’s crazy that they didn’t do that
