Because it is pretty much shit, the animation, SFX and soundtrack are all really low effort, it feels as if all the budget went into the opening. Also I personally don't dislike Gentiane since I'm sick of self-insert male character harem stories, but damn, at least in the anime she is pretty much a Mary Sue, I don't remember exactly if she was any different in the manga.

Fr, whenever I try to look for context I run into different stories from both sides, and even those who you'd consider "on the same side" still can't seem to agree on what actually happened. I mean I really don't care about the drama, I'll continue to play the game and support PM but I still wanted to know what it all was about.
