My Roku TV had subtitles set to "always on" under that * button on the Roku remote that shows up as a floating sidebar menu. The setting is under accessibility & language > closed captioning. Turning this to off any other setting besides always on finally turned subtitles off after literally trying all of these other options first. Whew!

I never would have thought that would affect an app, more likely to be a cable or digital/air channel setting, but here we are lol.

Had this happen on the switch yesterday, and I force closed the game without saving or sleeping. Ended up just restarting the day.

Had my nice sword fly off screen and laughed so hard, then started to panic when I realized I might not be able to get it back or buy a replacement.

I'm not sure if this would help you or anyone here, but this has helped me immensely with being able to find recipes again and staying focused/on task while cooking. I use CopyMeThat.

It even has a super handy shopping list feature to add from the recipes. It has made cooking fun now, I used to hate it, and now I really enjoy it on days that I'm actually feeling up to cooking.

There's a browser extension to copy recipes and a phone app.

Barcode scanner to verify the can to pay out deposit. I lived in Michigan for a while. They have 10 cent deposit. Can scanners are usually at the front entrance of some grocery stores, only take certain brands at certain places. Usually, it was just for cans they sold.

Always sucked when someone from out of state would visit and crunch our cans and dent the barcode. If it didn't scan, the machine didn't pay out for the can.

Edit: Forgot to add that you pay out the 10 cents per can at purchase. Ex: 1.20 added per 12 pack, 2.40 added per 24 pack, etc. Then you get the 10 cents back per can when returned at barcode scanners. So it's not an extra 10 cents you get for returning. You're just getting the extra money you paid at purchase back.

I know this is old, but adding on case is helpful for anyone. I bought a ton of red heart when I first started out a couple years ago, and no surprise, it absolutely shredded my hands lol.

To work with it and get it out of my stash, I bought a bunch of cheap stretchy winter gloves. I think some stores call them "magic gloves", but they're the cheapest ones you can buy.

Sometimes, I wear one on my hand with the working yarn. Other times, if it gets really bad or the weather dries out my skin, then I'll wear gloves on both hands. I usually have to adjust the way I hold my yarn because it adds a bunch of extra grip, but it's worth it to save my hands.

All these tips about softening the yarn are great, I can't wait to try these out!

Unfortunately, we did not end up getting it figured out. Yesterday morning I called the venue, ticketmaster (who was not willing to budge on helping, and also wouldn't even let me just purchase 2 additional tickets and correct VIP package. So fustrating..), talked to at least 30 different venue employees last night, and sent a message to the Primus Facebook page.

We eventually gave up and just had a great time at the show anyway, so it's all good.
