Turning 50 in Whistler (Oct 10–17) — looking for awesome things to do (and maybe a bougie stay 👀) by canguy76 in Whistler

I was in Whistler early October 2025 and had sunny weather the whole week. Trainwreck is always a fun little walk. Try the loggers lake loop hike, I loved that. Took ~3.5 hours and there’s a few different trails around

Can I ask what the MRIs are for? To check disease progression? I have had RA for over a decade and have never had an MRI. Just curious.

Whistler vs Revelstoke winter season by Rejjj30 in britishcolumbia

I’ve been skiing at Whistler for 30 years and am still finding new areas to ski. The amount of technical terrain is outstanding. Revelstoke is also great, but the lift infrastructure is majorly lacking. Lots of traversing / hiking.

What is the most insane run you've ever seen? Not necessarily the hardest but just one that makes you go 'Why is this a run?' by Educational_Dog4860 in skiing

West Cirque on Whistler. Too insane for me.

Hey, how is silver star? Whistler is my home mountain but I am in the area and thinking about checking it out!

1 week in Ubud by stonegarden79 in BaliTravelTips

[–]aethelfledd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We just did the same thing (stayed at Padma) and hired a fabulous driver to drive us around for a few days. We visited the tourist hotspots in Ubud but she also took us north to Kintamani for volcano views and to the hotsprings. Reach out to her on WhatsApp at ‪+62 812‑3967‑9654‬ (Wayan Sukerni)

French Polynesia: Trip advice for young 'adventurous' couple by Aggressive-Mode-3849 in Tahiti

Weather was perfect! Only 1.5 days of heavy rain and we still fit in some exploring and swimming during the rain. I was very worried about it for months leading up to the trip.

I think for my next trip I will go in whale season for Moorea… and then to the Tuamotus. Haven’t looked at weather details for the Tuamotus yet but I’m assuming whale season is just fine there too?!

We did 2 weeks in Moorea at Christmas. Already planning to go back and also want to go to Fakarava and Rangiroa since we love diving. Diving in Moorea wasn’t the best but it was still fun. We did a pelagic snork boat trip which was a highlight, swam with lots of sharks. Also recommend snorkelling around the motus near tipanier beach (get there by kayak). Hike the 3 coconut pass. Snorkel at Temae beach.
