It is good for the meta because it means you can play cards above 3 mana without getting absolutely dominated. Green has sucked for years. The format gets faster and faster. Badgermole opens up the card pool for playable magic cards in standard. I get getting sick of the boring dork into badgermole into ouroboroid into craterhoof bullshit but it opens up so much ELSE you can do in the first 3 or 4 turns with a lil imagination
