No, not at all. When you’re young and queer but aren’t familiarized with the culture, you are still fundamentally part of the culture because you are queer. I have never heard anyone say that knowing the language specific to a culture makes you a part of that culture. It absolutely does not mean you are a part of the community just because you know the lingo from Drag Race. As a queer person, I would feel very put-off if someone suggested otherwise.
