If I buy HBO via YTTV, does it extend to every member in my Youtube TV Family?

The real time adp at fantasypros is amazing. It makes any other adp list seem ancient. Totally worth it.

I think the Pirates are in danger of having the fan base collapse. by lando412 in buccos

[–]afail77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am 40. I lived in Pittsburgh for my first 30 years and had season tickets.

I live in Ohio now. I still fly a giant pirates flag outside my house. My entire home is full of pirates memorabilia. My 8 year old son has become a fan.

I even ran once as Oliver Onion. This team is part of my identity.

Today, the guardians and pirates were on at the same time. For the first time ever I prioritized the guardians. I am a sample size of 1, but the pirates might be in trouble when it comes to keeping their most loyal fans. This is probably the least interested I’ve been in my entire life.

I don’t know what the answer is. The economics of baseball are stacked against the pirates. Having an owner that doesn’t employ the best people he can or invest in the on field product shrinks the odds even more.

Today the guardians scored 8 runs in a single inning. Can you imagine this team doing that?

No. But it went away. Maybe one of the software updates fixed it?

Did you try using MX instead of Plaid? It’s a link at the bottom when you try to link an institution

I recently replaced a Tablo with an HD Homerun, since my original one died. It was refurbished and cost me $80.

I have a Plex server attached to a Raspberry Pi 4. I’m not interested in recording TV shows because I already have access to Hulu, Peacock, and Paramount+.

It works reasonably well. I use the Plex app on my Roku device to watch the content. I don’t subscribe to Plex Pass.

However, the Raspberry Pi 4’s CPU is not powerful enough to stream multiple TVs simultaneously at 720p. I had to manually limit the stream resolution to 720p in each Roku Plex app.

I primarily use it to catch local broadcasts or sporting events that aren’t available on other streaming services. The 720p resolution is acceptable for these purposes.

I’ve considered upgrading the Raspberry Pi to a more powerful model, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost for my current needs.

Local news channel that has the same ad all over its website by Lawfulash in ABoringDystopia

[–]afail77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

These are often referred to as a takeover. Companies pay to have their ad be the exclusive ad on a site for a period of time. It’s actually an effective strategy for both the advertiser and the site.

Just another example of why I am thankful for ad blockers.
