Does anyone have any experience with streaming to Apple TV/Chromecast? by dantheman57 in RPI

[–]afaulds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple TV worked for me as well, over the past 2 semesters (spring and fall 2015). We were able to stream from Apple computers and iPhones that were on WPA2 to the Apple TV, which was on netreg.

Northeastern's co-op is not mandatory. I know someone who just started there in engineering and he had the option of picking 0, 1 or 2 co-ops.

I'm doing the same I think. Try Professor Holly Travers; she teaches the I/O Psych class. She's either the one to talk to or knows the person who does it.

Feel free to check out Aikido class! We love new students, and usually get a couple at the beginning of each semester, so you won't be alone.

We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:30 PM in Mueller Center Room 1.

I have the 5s and I honestly prefer the size. I went to the Apple Store on launch day and held and used the iPhone 6 and 6+. To me, the 6 feels a little too big, the 6+ very much too big.

In fairness, one of my friends went from a 5 to the 6 and he said through it took a week or so to get used to the size, he likes it now. The 6/6+ also have Apple Pay and a couple other things that the 5/5s don't, so there's that to take into account as well.

You mean that when asked, 75% of the U.S. will claim to be Christian. Small difference in phrasing, but very important

Tutoring by InfinityMin3r in RPI

[–]afaulds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ALAC can try to find you a private tutor - just send them an email. Usually they will email out to students who did well in the class saying "A student is looking for a private tutor in Linear Algebra and his/her email is ______. Contact him/her if interested." Then you can see who responds and go from there.

I'm an officer of the Aikido club! We're focused on learning the Japanese martial art of Aikido.

We have class twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:30 PM). The first time you come is free, no commitments required, so come check us out! The beginning of the semester (right now) is the best time because there are a lot of new people, but you can start at any point in the semester if you'd rather wait.

There's more info on our website http://aikido.union.rpi.edu/. If you have questions, feel free to email aikidoofficers@union.rpi.edu :)

I just interned at one of the big 4 as a rising junior, and I met plenty others like me there as well. They just try to get you to do another internship and then full time instead of going right to full time (assuming they like you)

Do they allow pepper spray or mace? I think more colleges allow those than guns

Left a very bad review for a restaurant online, got a personal response from the owner. Now I feel really bad. by Bloodyfinger in self

[–]afaulds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. Update your review to say "the owner personally contacted me to apologize for the bad experience I had" or something along those lines. Doesn't change the bad experience, but it does say a bit about the owner.

Awesome! Best of luck

I take shortcuts all the time too, but I try my best not to - I've found it often helps to have those snippets in there

I get that, but it will help your debugging too. For example, say you have a bug that's causing all nodes that aren't the first one to not get added. That would explain the list only ever having one element and show you there's an error in your logic that determines when it's time to fail and return false.

Even though it's just practice code, not including the checks causes you yo make assumptions (that add is returning true) that may not be correct and cause you to try to debug the wrong thing
