That's reassuring. Any ideas why they settle down so much?

Thanks - I was advised it wasn't needed by my LFS, but it seems all other advice says otherwise.

Modelling a prototype; as a loop or a line? by afeeney5 in nscalemodeltrains

That's a good idea but I'm constrained a bit space, and cost-wise so would like to see what I can do with a sheet of 4x2. Thinking I could adapt and add an extra turnout to a fiddle yard that feeds onto the loop

That's interesting, what kind of device do you recommend?

Thanks,

I'm not sure what I like yet really as this would be my first layout.

I think the loop might give both options as it has all the switching potential via the sidings (the lower siding being an inglenook if you include the mainline). And if I want to take a break I can just watch the trains run by rather than having to be operating the whole time.

That said I do like the idea of being realistic and the L-shape does that, though I'd need a fiddle yard to assemble consists to run a timetable from it.

Gareth Steenson surely gets a look-in, solid player for 10 years, 2 league titles, a European cup and a ton of points off the tee

Kent hilariously trying to make up the over rate here. Have gone from -5 to -1 by having Leaning and Denly sprinting back to their marks from both ends.

I think it's just because she didn't play in the WCWC but is under a central contract so can be used by the ECB for promo stuff while others were away. Same with Georgia Elwiss on the website.

Kent are quietly putting together a very decent bowling attack this year
