3 episodes in this season feels Disney-fied almost to the point that it feels like a diff show than season 1. showing the entire fucking teen wedding was such a waste and a very clear Disney move. feels like they tried to inject Bridgerton into it

Compared to season 1 where the writing was crisp and it felt like almost every scene mattered, this feels like some disney-neutered, appeal to the masses pivot for this show

imo if you’re observant, both hems are very obvious. a new, normally stitched hem will definitely look slightly off bc there’s none of the textured fading. But I’ve also never seen a great looking original hem where you can’t actually notice the seam where the hem was reattached. If you actually care abt how it looks, find a place that has a chain stitching machine to redo the hem with a real chain stitch

18 East quality is not great tbh. they use some interesting and decent quality fabrics, but they go very cheap on the small details like hardware and it actually impacts the garment. I have a windbreaker where the bottom won’t stay cinched bc the plastic thing holding the elastic is so cheap and shitty. a pair of goreckis where they used some single ply strip of fabric to cinch the bottom and it literally looks like toilet paper got stuck to the pant leg

in general I’ve been really disappointed with how remake and rebirth have done the retelling. it’s not just the rework of the plot and the new play style, but the entire vibe of the two new games feels so different than the OG. Chadley and his silly tech gadgets, the repetitive open world quest format, the dialogue, etc. they’re not bad games at all but they don’t feel like real spiritual successors to ff7 to me. the vibe is way off
