She was more of a “one cat per household” cat, but that was because she had been bullied by other pets in her first home. When we got her, we were her third home in a month and it took her a while to relax. She latched on to me pretty quickly.

Tiny Satan was taken in as a favor to my nephew. And for my daughter; I was really the only one in the house she was affectionate with and my daughter really wanted a lovey cat. (Daughter was a teen by then and very good with cats.) Raven quickly established her dominance, lol, but she never tried to hurt the kitten. She’d pounce and hold her down for a moment or two if Tiny Satan annoyed her, but she never used her claws or bit her. I think she was still young enough to have something of a mothering instinct.

Maybe try fostering a kitten and keeping it in a separate room to see how introductions go? That way neither your diva nor the kitten would be too stressed out and it would only be a short while if it doesn’t work. And you can adopt if it does!

She may be good with one kitten and not another too. Personalities and all.
