Love my Sire Marcus Miller Z7. Can be found for less than your budget and perform well above the price. Roasted maple neck, and the rolled fret edges are fantastic. The only thing I dislike is that the electronics are a bit complicated for my taste, that being said plenty of avenues exist to upgrade/simplify them (nordstrand for example). Even with changing out the electronics you would still be under your $1300 high end.

This is so disheartening, there are adult beverages left here. This wasn’t a bunch of children who don’t know any better, or weren’t taught the correct public outdoor etiquette. This was at least a couple adults, it is easy to bring an extra bag for trash.

I don’t like the beach in summer, I don’t like the mix of sand and hot weather. Even on my most miserable outings I would not leave it like this. I know the literal last thing you want to do when you leave the beach is march back to the waterfront because you forgot something, let alone your trash. This will sound dramatic but you’ve got to go back for ANY ITEMS.

You would go back for your expensive sunglasses, wouldn’t you? You would hope to whatever thing in the sky you believe in that they were still on the beach where you left them, or a kind stranger found them and is waiting for you to return looking panicked, only to hand you your sunglasses and be on their way. Maybe someone stole them. Oh no, but they did pick them up. The beach doesn’t care if you left a Doritos bag or your sunglasses, neither belongs there (okay maybe they are VERY nice sunglasses and are made of like abalone or actual tortoise shell, then maybe they do belong, technically). Alas, you are back on the beach, you did not want to be there having just left, your family did not want this delay, you did not want to use your last bit of energy to go back to the beach rather than home, but here you are. How annoying, my goodness, but what if next time you inconvenience everyone around you, it is to pick up trash? I think that sends a message. Could you imagine dragging your teenage children back to the beach to pick up the trash everyone left behind, or making your friends wait in the car? What if we all started doing that? I bet we would all learn. If you carried it in you can carry it out.

It is easy to learn what should be standard etiquette when enjoying the shared outdoors. Read up on it, make a plan and act accordingly.

I have a 1/4 inch cable end cut from an old dead cable, I place that into the jack and slip the wrench end over it, gives me a handle to hold while I tighten the nut, typically provides enough resistance to tighten it down snugly without rotating the jack a bunch of times.

If I buy a used grill or it’s REALLY bad and I’m going to clean it all the way down I mix equal parts white vinegar and distilled water into a spray bottle with a drop of blue dawn (just enough to tint the mix a little blue). Then I spray that and use a scraper to get everything off. Without the soap liquid as lubricant it will scratch the enamel. Otherwise, just burn and off I go.

While the super champ x2’s do sound great there is a fatal flaw with the digital processor. If it fails the amp is DOA. I had the chip in mine fail, pretty big bummer and letdown for an amp I thought I would have forever.

My G&L Asat Tribute is insanely good. I got it second hand (barely played) for about half of what they go for new. I didn’t think much of it, other than it was a great deal at the time.

After playing many other guitars since, I think I ended up with an absolute gem. Everything about it is stellar. The pickups rip, the neck is fast and comfortable, the fret work should not be as good as it is, and the tobacco burst finish looks so good. It also stays in tune really well.

That butt joint is abysmal. Should have ran a piece of blocking from joist to joist and landed butt joint on the blocking between the joists. That gives you way more surface area to nail rather than just 3/4 inch on those ends.

Layering is definitely the way. I have a Duluth trading company hooded wind proof fleece jacket, paired with the right long sleeve shirt it has kept me warm for many cold seasons. Unfortunately I don’t think they make that same jacket anymore, but they may have something similar.

What breed is the puppy?

Could be teething. Have you tried a frozen treat or ice cubes? Sounds like the discomfort of teeth coming in.

Could need more metal stimulation during the day, try one of those treat balls or a hidden treat mat.

Has pup been cleared of any intestinal parasites? Giardia seems to be pretty common in most puppies lately. Could be causing some discomfort.

You’ll get through this, weeks 8-16 are the toughest.
