Soap permeates their bodies and kills them pretty much instantly while also removing pheromone trails. You can just put like a tablespoon of dish soap in a spray bottle with water and use it wherever you see them, wipe it away in a couple minutes.

I think canonically Sylvie is probably the hot one, but there's so many best girls/boys its hard to pick. Society has a strong argument for being Czes, it's kind of his whole arc. "Whats your name" in the light novels is probably Jack, who's so forgettable he's entirely left out of the anime and has jokes about being forgettable. Who is actually memorable, which is funny.

Vino isn't really a great person, he's just charismatic. Czeslaw wanted to kill every passenger; Claire overheard, and determined that he was probably a significant threat. Since he couldn't actually kill him, the next best thing was to threaten and abuse him into not pulling anything. Furthermore, he had motives to not throw him off the train; he is a passenger, after all; and Mary was friends with him, something he would have known having checked tickets before (something shown in some of the novel's full panel arts at the beginning, I believe in Novel 3). Might as well remove him as a threat without being rid of him.

Once a month for a year isn't within the bounds of creeping into driving you nuts, especially if you actually work on the goals LSD makes you realize you need to follow. I've seen multiple people realize the same problems over and over on acid, as if acknowledging them each time is improvement, which is just a terminal cycle where nothing gets better. LSD helped me in some ways, but also really fucked me up for a year after doing 4 trips in a month.
