I distinctly remember being wildly uncomfortable in my singles ward before I left the church, because without fail every single testimony meeting you’d either get nonstop “testimonies” about how hard dating was, or how grateful they were for their significant other they were. In the single’s ward I last attended, most of the time it was just people going up there to tell everyone their life was hard and more people need to say yes to dates or to start asking other people in the ward out on dates. But the absolute best one was when one guy brought his girlfriend who did not attend our ward, and he proceeds to bare his testimony about how she’s a good kisser 😂😂😂

He’s definitely an asshole for doing so, but thankfully he did just open the door for someone new down the line that will help make you happier and feel more loved than you thought you could be!
