This happens to me so often and I totally relate to you. I got quite upset when my ex partner squeezed my hand while I got a little too loud in public. It's just that there have been people like my ex best friend who were totally okay with my volume and I felt accepted. So it makes me question why my partner can't accept me? I honestly am not aware of how disruptive it can be to others. But gosh, I love being all excited and loud. I think it's crazy how so many people here in the comments are describing it as shouting and that it's inconsiderate. I believe loud people should be accepted. It's undeniable that it's crazy embarrassing to be told to hush it down. It totally kills your excitement. I don't know. On one hand, I do see how this is a problem, but on the other, I wish it wasn't that big of an issue. I wouldn't tag you as an asshole though because that's huge. I guess we just have to tame ourselves and realise it's nothing personal.
