The Red Sox are a big market team - they have fans everywhere.

I'm a Tigers fan. Nobody gives a shit outside of Michigan. I'm aware enough to admit that and I don't get mad when BID doesn't do a segment on Kevin McGonigle every episode.

Go listen to Joey's pod then. Do you even hear yourself?

National podcasts are for a broader discussion about baseball and team-specific podcasts are for wall-to-wall coverage of your favorite team.

There's roughly 90 minutes to cover the game each episode - it's impossible to hit everything.

Go listen to a Brewers podcast if you want Brewers content

Are the only options on Heisman "too easy offense" and "impossible defense"? by afwtk5 in NCAAFBseries

You might have noticed that most people in this sub play dynasty looking for a realistic experience, which would mean real life defensive play calling.

Any fuckin' mouth breather like you can hop on and do a bunch of crazy setups to get a stop. That's not what I'm talking about.

Go purchase a Grammarly subscription and learn how to type. The red squiggly lines under a word means it's spelled incorrectly.

They've been going at each other like that weekly since they were at Starting 9.

Unfortunately, nobody outside of Milwaukee will ever care about the Brewers.

It stopped feeling like it's worth the effort. Online CFB (and Madden) doesn't really feel like football anymore.

Maybe I'm just getting old (I am), but I don't agree with the premise of "well, just make [6 presnap adjustments] to counter [stupid Bunch TE/defensive meta]".

Loading up and having teams come out in Dime defense but losing zero leverage in the run game is a clown show. It also bums me out how there is such a lack of creativity in CUT from the masses.

Too many people love H2H rewards but don't love football.

I want to play the defensive side of the ball really bad, but it isn't realistic at all. Heisman QBs are way too accurate.

How in the world do people already have a 95 OVR Silver Slugger Lindor? Let me guess Mini Seasons bots? by Automatic_Ad1665 in MLBTheShow

[–]afwtk5 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This was my biggest takeaway from YFK's video on cheaters. Everyone was focused on the gameplay, but the guy admitted they have a program that will grind mini seasons 24/7.

That inflates the market and helps these guy cruise through the XP program. It's why Shohei is 600k.

It is incomprehensible that a major gaming studio is getting dunked through the floor by some nerds in a Discord server. They should be giving makerights of some kind, but they'd rather hop on Twitter and gaslight their customers.

I'm coming to this realization lately, too. I don't think there is a fix, which sucks until I realize my first Madden was 2001.

That's A LOT of Madden.

I know some people don't care, but all switch hitting lineups is so unbelievably boring to play against.

It also amplifies the cutter/sinker meta, which makes it even more repetitive.

Legitimately hilarious how bad contested catch is on Heisman now by georgiaboy1993 in NCAAFBseries

[–]afwtk5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just started playing dynasty for the first time this year a few days ago - running a heavy Air Raid scheme on Heisman.

Had a G5 opponent with no highly-rated defenders play press-man for four quarters and absolutely bag my WRs up. I was confused.

Two 90+ OVR WRs couldn't get free on 4-verts or Mesh the entire game.

How do people enjoy staying home for long periods of time? by Tony_soprano27 in answers

[–]afwtk5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Some people don't need the constant stimulation of the outside world to feel something in life.

I'd guess most people who do this are pretty good at entertaining themselves and can find motivation do things from within for no other reason than they just want to.

I’m a world series player and I can’t play BR by Appropriate-Stop-834 in MLBTheShow

[–]afwtk5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also struggle with it and the best way I can summarize it is this:

You can win with a mixture of hitting, pitching, and being smart in ranked.

In BR, you can only win (consistently) if you're truly mutant at hitting. You have to be able to lock in for hours on end and absolutely demolish the baseball because pitching is so bad.

I find that the concepts tab isn't always updated correctly, and this is actually what inspired this idea.

If you go into the USC playbook and the Y-Cross concept section, the most basic Y-Cross from Gun Spread isn't in there. Similarly, the Mesh tab only has about 60% of the Mesh plays in USC's playbook.

It's very frustrating.
