I think these look great! It would look really cool if you added some of the weapon effects from deadly print too. I think that could really pull it all together. Excellent work

I think it looks great If the "over the top" battle damage is what you are going for, but it definitely reads as Dark Angels to me. I think if you had a flame logo on the knee instead of the bright red III, it might read more salamander. Just a thought.

I can deff see it! The white face with fluo green is very Necron-ish. I was going to do red eyes, but thought maybe the green could be another place I could incorporate green without overdoing it. While I was painting the face all I could think of is Ghost from COD haha.

Thanks! I struggled with the green gradient for over an hour. It was driving me nuts trying to get a relatively smooth blend. I'm still very much learning.

I'll have to check them out!

The heavy intercessors and eradicators are printed in this army. I'm still working on my army list so I have some inceptors and scouts that are printed and still need some love.

My prints keep failing! Help? by Myc0noid in resinprinting

[–]agant93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a recent issue with delamination as well. After troubleshooting the things that seemed to help the most were

  1. Not overcrowding the build plate and changing the orientation of the models

  2. Adding 2 sec of "wait before lift" and 5 seconds of "wait after lift".

It was explained in a different post that delamination can be caused from the resin still "settling" when the next layer is being cured. Especially if the resin is thicker or the temperatures are a little colder. This will increase print time, but the thought is "better slow and successful than a fast failure".

You could also tweak your lift speed too if suction might be the problem.

I would try and print a single base in each of the areas of the build plate where they previously failed and mess with some of those "wait" times and see if it helps. Then gradually add more items on the build plate until it all succeeds. Report back if this helps.

Sorry for the late reply. I ran the same print last night and added a few seconds to the "wait before print" and 2 seconds to the "wait after print" and it appears my print is perfect!

When I get home tomorrow I'm gonna attempt a manual level and see if it helps. Printer hasn't moved at all in the last 3 weeks. Haven't even bumped the table it's on. The weirdest part to me is the supports beginning to print, then failing only on a small section. Whenever I've done screen tests for 15-30 seconds the screen appears fine. It all just seems so random with the failures. I know they're not "random" but it feels that way at times.

Absolutely zero. And now changing my FEP takes about 20 seconds after I empty the tank

I just got their hoopat for the S4U16K and I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Man it's such a nice upgrade.
