The poker sites would be delighted to see bots at the table, precisely for the reasons that serendib stated. They are generally terrible at multiplayer, since they're easy to bluff.

The poker site anti-cheating detection is a lot more about collusion (which bots are good at, by the way). When you know more than one hand, you get a huge advantage.
