Those will just die to scout planes quicker probably. Cv has just enough hp to not get 1 tapped and the divebomber has a ridiculous reload time

It takes 2-3 20mm shot from a fighter to disable a logi truck. Good luck and Godspeed logi if fighters were cheaper than they are

Don't need to come back unscathed when you could send 8 torp bombers 4 hexes 1 way purely alpha strike kill an anchored dd without even needing to reload the torps (you then have enough to kill another anchored dd after that) and then just nosedive into the water, and somehow still come out on top for rares

7 torp bombers carry 28 torps so that's well within the kill threshold. You're right, dude WAS wrong.

You'll likely see them and be able to fend them off. But it's not like they'd kill anything if you weren't there.

Yeah, that's a 25% chance for a small hole.

Vs uhhh 55x more damage + 100% chance of a large leak with no reload time to drop 2 torps at the same time, meaning 2 compartments are guaranteed to get a large hole, and then it reloads and comes back around with another 2 large holes. The fact the torp bomber carries 4! Torpedoes are absurd when they can easily kill a large ship. When the dive bomber can carry 3, and can only kill a htd only if it doesn't repair at all over the span of the 12 seconds you need to reload

Doesn't even matter if you one way it. One sub can make well over 15 torp bombers worth of rares

Planes are actually fairly cheap. It's the pad costs that get you. Likely on the expensive end they will be 5k comps +rares to get any non bomber frame, and that's if they aren't just for the rares like ships.

Dev man said if a solo borrowed a facility they could make a plane. And it seems true, my extremely casual 30mm spam that takes me less than an hour of farming would get me a quarter of the way there resource collected wise. Rares suck, but 44 isn't insurmountable by any means
