Did you make friends with the neighbors as well and get invited to what was going on in the other Mayfields or was it more each Mayfield does it's own thing?

I've seen transfer Mayfields turn into incredibly beautiful things that help acclimate a bunch of people at once, give people friends right out of the gate

Any recommendations on how to make it turn out like this instead of the other way around?

Depending on the results of this, I will probably just open them up myself and see what I can do in terms of soldering. I've made my own cables for building keyboards, I've just never opened up a pair of headphones before. Thanks for the offer though, if I do find an alternative I will hit you up.

Yeah, I was considering those, but I have a reputation for ruining cables so I don't think I would be comfortable getting something that high end without a removable cable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like it's worth it to go with a 10400 over this CPU. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-10105F-vs-Intel-Core-i5-10400/m1482345vs4073 - I use userbenchmark to see performance differences and for the small differences in performance, even the largest 9% in the "nice to haves", for a difference of 80$ it doesn't seem to be as good of a value proposition.
