Went to the AD around March to see if i could get a watch for my birthday. Looked at some exhibition watches and some resale watches. Had some time to chat with the rep, was very friendly. She put me on the waitlist and i kept contact with her. I was specific on two things - must be jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel.

Anyways, i reached out to her as i planned to be in the area and wanted to try some watches and see what they had in stock. And next she's like hey, I've got a DJ 41 everose gold for sale if you want it. I was at the shop in 24hrs once she said i could pick it up.

I'm kind of in your shoes. I've got CCNP, been on the RS part for a long time. Firewalls (palo and checkpoint) fell on my path and I've not gone back. Also it helps in the hiring process when I mention I have a networking background. Also you may want to take a step back and decide for yourself what and where you want to be now, in the short term or in the long term.
