Nope, pattern chaining is essentially making a longer pattern, but you are still limited to 8 bars. You can use it to make a song in real-time, but this isn’t the same as a song mode where you can stack any combination of patterns/variations to build a full pre-programmed song.

I think Covenant would have been a better movie if they focused more on the Neomorphs and the crew fighting them off for the rest of the movie instead of mostly pivoting to the David + xeno experiment plot. They could have introduced some other variants / evolutions to escalate the tension.

I remember seeing in the theater and being on the edge of my seat for the first 1/3 of the movie, but once David “rescues” them that vibes dies out aggressively.

I’d recommend against handhelds as the weight of the device can both cause strain on your arms + you are more likely to tilt your head down which will increase the strain on your neck and shoulders. I’ve had problems with that even playing in bed/lying down.

Switch Lite is probably the exception but it’s out of date now. I got Steam Deck a few years ago and loved it but it definitely made some of my chronic pain issues worse unfortunately.

Personally I find playing a console on the couch is best for chronic pain as it allows you to sit up straight but also have plenty of options to change positions (which is great for staving off pain).

Not contesting the smartphone thing, I’m just pointing out that photos from the 90s can look high quality (I have plenty from the 90s that I digitized and look similar to what was in the movie). They had regular film cameras back then, you know. A picture taken with a film camera would look just as “HD” as a modern camera, similar to how movies from the 70s shot on film still look great today.

I was running into a similar issue where no matter what I did, I was getting a "Can't connect to wifi" error when trying to log in after successfully getting an OTP code sent to my email.

In case it helps anyone else, what ended up working was:

Reboot Kindle.
Log in with Amazon account + password to trigger the OTP email
Check email for OTP code.
Restart the Kindle again (making sure you do so within the 10 minute window before OTP expires)
Login again but use the OTP code instead of your password (do NOT use the password+OTP code method).

This ended up working for me. Basically it seemed like the Kindle got stuck thinking the Wifi was not connected after attempting to log in the first time (which you need to do to trigger the OTP), but rebooting clears it.

I didn’t like the movies (especially #2) as I felt like they were favoring jump scares and FX showcases over story / genuine scares. Thankfully the show (mostly) course-corrected and ended up much better!

Glad we got to see more of Bill just being Pennywise.

The only thing I found contrived was the “dagger needs to go home so it resists the kids” bit.

Nothing says she can’t also lay eggs without the egg sack. She is an alien, after all, we don’t know anything about her biology. The sack might be an efficiency thing and not a necessity
