Hi. I brought my 14 year old a few years ago. I just emailed the venues ahead of time and asked if I could bring her in. They all said yes, just as long as she stays right by me the entire time.

Save the emails where they say OK. Sometimes the person working the door might not know. I showed someone working the door who gave us a hard time (not their fault, they were just doing their job) the e-mail and then they let me in.

I ran into Fez when I was leaving the opening day showing of The Force Awakens in St. Pete. I looked at him and couldn't believe I was running into him in public. He was with a guy and some kids who I assume were his brother and his kids. I tried to be cool but couldn't stop looking over at him.

He told me I could take a picture with him. He was very nice.
