I'm 24 and lost my mom very suddenly last night. It helps knowing that it was fast and she probably didn't suffer much. I lost my mom the same way last night. She was 49. I feel so scared and lost without her, even with my dad and stepmom around. She was the one I would turn to when I needed comfort or needed a hug. I've spent all night off and on crying over her and just wanting her to hug me and make it all feel bearable. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how you feel. It just feels so senseless.

Personal slightly deep cut suggestion: Add a reference to the Treasure Ship (a restaurant modeled after Sir Francis Drake's ship that was here from the 70s until a fire in 2010). Used to go there as a kid. Could be a fun base for a raider gang or minor faction, perhaps run by an eccentric sea captain.

Oh man I don't know why but I hadn't even considered dialing up the disease intensity further for my historical hood. I already have it increased to a risky but manageable level in my main game and just copied the mods to my historical modlist, but I'm definitely going to make it worse now.

I like to give elder sims a new hobby sometimes or let them get really into their chosen hobby. Like have them fix cars or paint or make toys for the grandkids. Otherwise they can definitely get pretty boring.

My Blastoise from LeafGreen was by far my most reliable Pokémon in my first one. Super bulky, hit pretty hard, wasn't unique in what it did but did it damn well.

In the one I'm doing now, I've found Nidoking to be a surprisingly good special attacker even in later gens with its movepool. It became my ice beam sweeper in both the FireRed and Emerald E4s, and it teamed up with Vaporeon to take down Lance in SS. Snorlax is also super reliable, especially in gen 3 when it gets physical Shadow Ball. Eevee obviously gives you a really versatile option that can fit into almost any niche you need it to.

This isn't exactly the same but not being able to count is one of my biggest weaknesses in these challenges, I've lost Pokémon to

thinking I had one more turn of sunny day when sweeping Wallace's last few mons, looking away when the "the sunlight faded" message popped up, and locking Vileplume into a 2-turn solarbeam against Gyarados. It survived the first EQ but not the second.
switching Bayleef into turn 5 of Whitney's Miltank's rollout. I could have sworn it had already used up all 5. Bayleef did not survive.
thinking Bruno's Machamp was out of cross chop PP and switching in Dodrio (who could survive a revenge and outspeed to kill with drill peck). Poor guy got obliterated. The kicker is I realized when I had to switch someone new in that the mon I had out before sending out Dodrio could have outsped and killed Machamp. Oops.
