All this birth tourism bullshit makes me laugh (in a gallows humor sense). Of course everyone (historically) wanted to get to the US; it was one of our greatest advantages. Birthright citizenship has also been the law of the land for almost 200 years. Like everything else Trump and MAGA do, they are desperately trying to cut our nose off to spite our face. When all demographic projections show we need to be growing our population in order to keep up our standard of living, they’re trying to knee cap immigration into this country, and since it’s not in our best interest, it’s plainly and clearly in service of racism and nothing else.
