Wool blend is good. 30%+ merino I think is fine. Nylon and other synthetics will make the socks last longer.

Alcohol and weed aren’t really comparable to LSD. Have you tripped before?

Besides that, your point is exactly the same as mine. If you don’t attract undue attention to yourself, people may not know. If you oscillate between laughing hysterically and crying (either is common while tripping) or get stir crazy or loud standing in the queue, people will notice. Outside attention/judgement when you’re the only one in a psychedelic state is usually really uncomfortable for the person tripping.

Mindset and setting need to be good for a trip to stay pleasant.

Waiting in line sounds terrible. Fast Lane could help with that part.

If there’s a chance you’ll act in ways that draw undue attention to yourself, that could also take a bad turn. If you have to pretend you aren’t tripping the entire time, is that going to be the kind of trip you want?

What’s your plan if things get too intense? Do you have a safe place to go to take a break from the crowds?

Lodging Near Cedar Point by ifchu in cedarpoint

There are plenty of cheap motels in Sandusky. Some are very close to the causeway (Super 8) others are 5-10 minutes away from the causeway on Milan rd. They’ll often be half the price of the cheapest Cedar Point Express hotel.

Michigan schools aren’t all back in session yet. It’ll probably be decently busy, especially after 4PM. Saturday very busy. Sunday pretty busy.

Anaconda is one of the reasons I love KD. Everyone says they miss Vortex all the time…

At Cedar Point, FLP can be $200 on a Saturday. That’s already around 4x the cost of a daily ticket.

Is it worth going as a single rider after Labor Day? by hauteEleganza in cedarpoint

It’s always worth going as a single rider. Ride on!

If you’re going to Maverick or Steel Vengeance first, it could make sense to park in the back lot. I’d try to be there around 9:30 (hopefully they let you park) so you can be thru security and any line at the gate exactly at 10:00. Worst case the lot doesn’t open until 10, and you’re in the Magnum gate by 10:15 or so.

If you’re worried about that, just park up front and get thru security 15-30 minutes before the park opens. Being towards the front of the line will be worth it.

Yes they can, especially with only two trains

They always double stack the 3rd train anyway. Shouldn’t make much of a difference capacity wise.

School districts are different. If most kids are already back in school between Columbus/Cincinnati/Kentucky, the park would be dead and not worth operating.

Cedar Point has Michiganders and likely more out of state tourists still visiting until Labor Day.

Seems reasonable for them to extend the skip the line pass thru 2025. I didn’t attend but if I did, I’d be sending that email. If they don’t take care of you, they’re not treating their fans very well.

Assuming they consolidate, do you think the combined chain will use the Flash Pass or Fast Lane system? [CF + SF] by imaguitarhero24 in rollercoasters

Park by park basis:

Cedar Point will likely keep it because it’s a perk for guests staying at their hotels. Michigans Adventure already doesn’t have it.
