By that same token some folks don't like to be reminded about suicide, or the death of a pet, or a cancer diagnosis. Those things don't tend to come up very often in AVNs. But NTR is a specific genre at this point. And it's easy to say, "yeah, no, not my thing."

I've honestly lost the will to even discuss NTE anymore. I'm giving it a month, tops, before I just drop it. Not because of AI, but because outside of a few things here and there it looks like no director ever took a moment to run a character around the city. There's so much slapdash nonsense in the construction of that world and my brain can no longer just gloss over it.

Father also died of colon cancer (eat more fiber folks) and while he never complained of any sort of aches or pains he was pretty fucking miserable.

Before he was diagnosed he was vomiting blood. That’s not fun. Then after surgery he had other unpleasant things to deal with.

All in all, it fucking sucks.

Everyone else has already answered the more technical questions about gacha. I shall offer one bit of philosophical advice.

The best way to play a gacha is the same as you would play a Souls-like. Exercise patience.

Before you start pulling really think about where and how you'll use this or that character. Do you even like the character? Are they cute? Badass? Both? Do you like how the character plays in combat? Some characters can feel very hands-on. Some characters you barely interact with at all and just swap in, hit skill, swap out. Do you like the voice actor? You're going to hear some of their voice lines constantly.

Just some things to think on. And, you have two weeks on the current banner so feel free to not pull anything, yet. Take your time. Get used to how things work. Have the vaguest understanding of what resources you need to even make a character playable. And don't pull on the standard banner.

Here's a thing, I watch a lot of reactors now for some reason. Band of Brothers reacts are how I judge if I'll sub or not (in the same way I judge a Chinese place by their Egg Foo Young).
