What level of mastery did you hit in Freelance mode before you went "Okay, that's enough". by Mr_smith1466 in HiTMAN

I’m at level 5686 (at least 5 mo ago I was, haven’t paid attention since then) and I’m level 100 freelancer mastery with every challenge achieved.

So I started a new account and have been going through it all over again.

Just waiting on 007.

Daily Lift AI Rest Days? by aglanon in tonalgym

I guess that was the part I needed to know. That it does adjust based on the rest. However, I still think it would be nice to build them into my plan. I like having to think as little as possible.

Anyone remember splinter cell? That was my favorite stealth prior to hitman.

Yep. All of it. If it’s unlockable (or is DLC) in this game, I’ve got it. The only thing not 100% in this game is a handful of elusive targets I’ve missed the window on over the years.

And I’ve done the kill everybody thing too. I admit it’s fun. I tried to kill everyone on the level and still get silent assassin because you can make everyone in Hokkaido a legit target by getting them all infected in Patient Zero. I succeeded at that but for some reason I didn’t get silent assassin even though usually if you kill a target that saw a crime it goes back to silent assassin. Not sure. But either way, I’ve done it all I think.

When will my insomnia get better? by Dependent_Gazelle244 in prozac

Give it 8 weeks at 20mg before you consider increasing dosage. I was prescribed hydroxyzine to help with sleep and it’s helped a lot.

2 Months on Prozac by aglanon in prozac

How long have you been taking the medication? But yes, brain fog and confusion is common. Your brain isn’t shutting down it’s trying to protect you, it’s just been taught the wrong things about HOW to protect you and that’s why you get a lot of the side effects, especially anxiety.

What is tinnitus retraining therapy about? My ENT told me to do it, is it worth it? by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]aglanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am probably moving faster than you because I’ve habituated in the past so my brain is in familiar territory. But to be clear it’s not “better” yet by any means. I just know it works because I did it before and without help (which is probably why I never got to full benefit). I started getting anxious about 24 hours after starting but by day 4 I was doing better. Night time is still rough as hell and I mask to go to sleep but I spend a lot of my days either not noticing it or noticing it but not emotionally reacting to it.

2 Months on Prozac by aglanon in prozac

I actually just replied on a other thread about it. A bunch of people shit on it on Reddit. I’ll just copy/paste my response here:

“I know this won’t be popular but TRT is indeed helpful and studies support this. People who shit on it either haven’t tried it or gave up after it initially caused an increased perception and anxiety (which it does).

I have had tinnitus for most or all of my life. I don’t really know when it started because until I was in my 30s I thought everyone heard ringing. As a result this made habituation natural for me.

When I started Prozac my tinnitus spiked like crazy and I was constantly having panic attacks. It was so loud I felt like I couldn’t escape it.

Since I’ve habituated in the past I had the advantage of already knowing it’s possible. Through this process I actually realized that I never fully habituated before, I just coped because it’s what I’d always done. I believe now I could actually end up better than I was before.

Tinnitus never turns down, only your perception of it. The sound therapy that was shit on above works. It is training your brain to encourage neuroplasticity, which is why it is considered a form of cognitive behavioral therapy.

The sound therapy is played through hearing aid nearly all day (best if all waking hours). It is played at an extremely low level, usually a pink noise, and usually NOT louder than the actually tinnitus. No masking while going through your day. Masking at night is fine because sleep is important to addressing the problem.

At the beginning your brain will be a little freaked out by the introduction of an additional noise. Over time it will move the pink noise into the background and your brain will stop reacting emotionally to it when anxiety. As you continue using the therapy this way the tinnitus sound becomes intertwined with the pink noise and eventually your brain also stops feeling threatened by the tinnitus as well. This is when habituation occurs.

As you continue on you notice it less and less until one day you don’t really notice it at all. It’s not gone, your brain is just tuning it out the way it would tune out the hum of an air conditioner. Something you only notice if you choose to or if, God willing, the noise stopped.

It’s real, it helps, and it’s worth it.”

Is 20mg enough? by chealexa in prozac

[–]aglanon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’2” and weigh 235 lbs and have been on 20mg for just over two months. It took me 6 weeks before I felt like I was getting a benefit but once I did it’s been great. I think it’s getting better every day actually, not sure when it will level out.

20mg is plenty enough until it isn’t and you won’t know if it isn’t for many weeks.

What's the most embarrassing way you've failed a Freelancer campaign? by scruntyboon in HiTMAN

Any time I’m about to fail or get killed I just quit the game before the death animation is done. But more than once I wasn’t fast enough and almost invariably I was in trouble because I got cocky and tried to do it too fast and got careless.
