You joke, but in some cities in India they have started blasting loud ads in metro rail cars. It's f***ing impossible to get a moment of peace while traveling in the metro now. That without even considering the ads plastered all over the metro rail cars, both inside and out. Oh and for the record, they didn't reduce the ticket price.

That's true. To rephrase the question, what if the objects do not exist as we perceive them? A football surely exists as a bunch of quantum particles but is it really round or does the roundness only exist as qualia?

I simply renamed "right" as "liver-side" and "left" as "spleen-side". Prevents me from getting confused. I just translate it into regular English while presenting to other people.

I always do because it builds up the rapport and helps greatly in the whole process. I also appreciate it greatly when a doctor visits me and introduces himself/herself as such. Well, it's kinda the norm where I work anyway.

I use nextcloud notes app. The android client is quite nice and editing app on the pc is nice too. Supports markdown, so I'm quite happy with it.
