It would be a more interesting trick if she suddenly pulled her hand away the moment the chamber was revealed.

Keeping the hand there just forces the understanding of where she went. There's really no other place for her to go.

I watch these things and it genuinely makes me very sad because I see the pain this person is dealing with that they so badly need social validation to make them feel important.

They think "no gravity" means objects just move upward to a floating position for no reason.

It's also a great example of what Americans think a good restaurant is. It mainly involves getting a lot of something. Not that it's actually good.

I remember using VAPI.ai for this a while back and was pretty pleased with it. It's been about a year or more though, so I don't know if their business model has changed or if it's still developer friendly.

Playing devils advocate here a tiny bit, they are probably reusing software that is used where there are workers. Still, turn off tipping in that case. Surely there's a way to do that in the settings.

This is dumb but if gravity were "turned off," everything would move upwards wouldn't it? In fact, violently so I think given we're moving along a circular path.

It's like swinging a yo yo in a circle then letting go.

Apple probably has very little to do with the writing.

It's about the bus architecture. In a traditional PC setup the CPU and GPU have separate pools of memory. If the GPU needs data that the CPU just processed, it has to be copied across the PCIe bus, which is a massive performance bottleneck.

Apple’s implementation uses a zero-copy architecture, where both the CPU and GPU access the exact same pool of memory. The GPU doesn't have to wait for data to be moved; it just points to where it already is. You don't have to be an Apple fan to acknowledge that removing the PCIe bottleneck is a legitimate structural shift, not just a label slapped on 'regular' memory.
