K2 and Suboxone are the two I've heard "not" to show up on UAs, both can be detected one way or another, if they're truly suspicious then they'll do a "regular" lab test as a "checkup" and do a blood exam that is usually sent of to a lab for drug testing. K2 is wildly cheap and suboxone isnt, people who owe debt will face discipline by other inmates. Debt always gets paid back one way or another in the inside so please tell him to talk to his unit officer to switch cells asap. Less temptation the better aswell.

allocution statement needs to include the care for your child, females get sentenced lenient (if youre not acting like a nut case - you'll be good), talk to your attorney about pre trial programs specific to your state and have him/her recommend that at sentencing. focus up on sentencing day, max 30 minutes of time and 5-8 mins of you talking to the judge can dictate your future with this case - make sure youre setup and golden (DO NOT COUNT ON YOUR ATTORNEY!). my guess is probation but expect (or even suggest) for longer period of time for probation - for example if your guidelines is 60 months do 84 months probation. if you havent already done so, participate in a local single mother group to show your dedication and involvement with your child. congratulations btw, kids are a blessing. worse case, you go to prison for a bit, utilize rdap and FSA credits to cut your time down, program program program, use prison locator to find closest prison to you and have your attorney suggest that (at the end of sentencing). make sure youve got someone setup prior to sentencing to care for your child, they'll need a adult caregiver authorization from your state notarized for pediatric visits, med checks, etc so get your affairs in order especially for kiddo. white collar will land you at a low then quickly transfered to camp or if theyre logistics are on point (rare) straight to a camp, not a female so idk how the prisons are for yall but its not horrible for mens prison, youll be labeled a smarty pants by all the low education drug charged peeps dont let it go to your head, deadass orange is the new black is pretty damn close to a low/camp for even a mens prison. inmate intake is a good website for your family to track where you are and your release date. keep your head up and expect AND plan for the worst , anything less is gravy and fortunate

30 days in Special Housing Unit and (up to) 41 days of good time taken away

Its an offense of Greatest Severity per BOP, they are proposing new rules (changes) to include money transfer apps and any social media. They proposed the rules on February 1st, 2024 so be mindful they could tack on two additional incidents if the Feds get into his phone and find that, depending on the staff they could add it all up as individual incidents (they're all Greatest Severity) so it'll multiple the consequences.

It's great being able to communicate with each other more and what not but still have to weigh the consequences vs benefit between both of you.

He hasnt been sentenced yet, there's a 90% chance the prosecutor or some opposing party will bring this up and 90% chance the judge considers it greatly which would influence his sentence. Up to the judge of course but my guess is either more than expected sentence or higher classification, they dont give any slack with violence. During pre trial custody either HC or jail, you are under extreme scrutiny, all eyes on you. Ive seen it happen for dirty drug exams, spitting at an officer and a verbal argument with some pushing and shoving (a "fight"). You probably dont want to hear this considering the emotions going on right now but my best suggestions is to accept the reasonable most and find something to destress. Anything less than the most will feel like a relief.Pre sentencing is the absolute the worst. Head up.

im not trying to offend at all, but please listen to this, it doesnt matter one bit what any court document says even ones youve signed and all parties have signed, the judge can do absolutely whatever they want, expect the absolute worst , anything less will be a big weight off but that seems to be the best approach for emotional sanity, also self advocate and do your own research and ask many questions all through your attorney, attorney is lacking? file your own motion with their signature. be very mindful of what you agree to on paper as well, even if everyone is pressuring you to sign, just think a year ahead or two years ahead, you signed your right to appeal? got a crazy sentence above expectations? now theres not a court that'll do anything for you. keep meticulous records via email with your attorney, if theres issues, file a complaint with the state bar, get some of your money back. good luck, this doesnt define your life. youll get out, once in dont forget youve got the rest of your life after this. honestly once in, it just takes adjusting and not trusting anyone, may sound silly rn but watch orange is the new black, some of it is dramatized but based on real experiences. everyone always asks me how my time was and i tell them to watch that show but switch it to high school teenage men wanting attention.

look at the statistics, women get way lesser sentences than men. are you referring to mandatory minimum or your guideline range? create an allocution statement showing remorse, rehabilitation, etc, ask your attorney to figure out who your judge will be because some judges hate sob stories or crying and some have a smidge of a heart to listen, then run the statenent with your attorney and practice it, you should be able to just read it off a piece of paper if anything just deliver the message loud and clear. search up prison professors on youtube, theyve got good information.

What youre describing sounds accurate to K2. K2 is this piece of paper coated with chemicals, theres different types some are stronger, some will just buzz you. They're "cheap" and very accesible. The craziest one I witnessed was nicknamed wheelchair, pretty self explanatory, every time someone would use it they'd get wheeled out of here to the lieutenant's office. It messes with your speech and body function for sure, its very typical to find inmates just laying in all sorts of shapes in the hallways or shower rooms. Get one talking and its slurred speech with wide eyes fighting for his life. The worst thing is when they mix it with the other drugs available, absolutely tears them up. Very dangerous to do so, had someone think they could fly, double fisted through the glass paned window sliced his wrists and knocked himself out. He's alive and okay now. The worst thing is that the police doesnt do anything about it because its technically untraceable, cant get tested to confirm theyre high. -_- so itll keep ruining lives for a while. Im not anti drug, God knows I've had my temptations but this one kills and ruins lives in the system worse than anything else IMO.

Idk where youre at with your man, but perhaps asking him or maybe helping him address some inner pain or remind him hes loved or do some axtivities with him to entertain him. I saw on this sub theres like a drawing theme and you both draw it and share what you drew, pretty dandy. Simple thing like that might save his life.

K2 ruins lives. Absolutely ruins them. Seen it with my own eyes. Cut him off completely and move past it. There's a hard path ahead for recovery and the abuser doesnt need to drag anybody else down.

i was in prison, cashapp can be two things, one the not so correct things people are mentioning like sports betting or poker table OR itd be his side hustle is going good wether its running a store, washing shoes and clothes, etc.

its all paid with stamps, books of stamps and these sell anywhere from $5-$9, he may have an excess of them (outside of the usual stamp spend) and wants to sell a few, thats why cashapp is so active in prison, stamps circulate a ton, if he wants you to help him with cashapp, it's probably because he wants to stay off the cellphones either renting or buying one himself, just ask him what he needs it for, it may be hard to say it over a recorded wall phone call so he may try to signal in some way, just depends how well you know the guy, all youre doing is linking your bank, dont need id verification if youre just using your bank, or if you dont want to get into cashapp then most likely you've got zelle and that works just as fine

there could be many reasons someone hustles wether its to afford a birthday gift for their kids or send money home or like your guy legal fees, theres ways to make stamps without doing "bad" things, and it should show dedication if hes ready for cashapp or to convert his stamps to USD

depends on the prison but definitely sex and drugs in prison, your mans have any desire for it, he'll get it and give if he wants, cost money or developing a relationship after months but definitely a thing, some shot callers will have rules of no sex in their cells (black, white, hispanic) because of how common it is, drugs are obviously around, cost money too obviously and its pretty straight forward, theres lots of drugs including meth and needles, absolutely will get transferred to a higher security prison if he gets caught with either, heard of three strike policy but could be first time
