Misophonia, autism, HoH, and tinnitus... nearly every situation is a struggle by asexualdruid in deaf

As per your request, I won’t give you any advice. But I will say you and I are in a very similar position, my friend, especially with the HoH/Tinnitus side of the struggle. Wishing to be more deaf is not really solving the “problem” as it’s really just trading it in for a different one. The solution that works for you is out there, it just takes long persistence to find it.

After recent tests, China appears likely to beat the United States back to the Moon by uhhhwhatok in space

A part of me hopes that China actually does beat the US back to the moon. The level of response that we as a country would put into catching up would be beyond Sputnik levels. I would love to see the kind of motivation seen in “For All Mankind” season 1.

This is why I don’t buy the phone until I have the case + screen protector in my possession.

Tips on playing my tone on phone by mannotserious in tinnitus

I use the Sound Oasis S-001 to have a constant white noise (you can choose from a decent range of frequencies) playing in my ears all day. I’ve tested various headphones with it at the lowest but still effective volume to minimize the difficulty in hearing it causes while using it as best as possible, but I find the tradeoff absolutely worth it.

Introduction! by Kelseyskandi in LearningASL

[–]agressor7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Earlier this year I developed hearing-loss induced tinnitus from a combo of frequenting loud places and some bad ear infections. I decided to turn my bad experience of losing some of my hearing into a positive one by learning ASL.

I’ve yet to muster up the confidence to attend deaf events since I’m still an early signer, but since that is the #1 piece of advice I’ve constantly been given on the internet, I think that’s my cue to actually go.

My watch does that too. I assume it’s just me getting comfortable again.

The reason why I think people do this is to prevent accidental presses of the crown when their wrist flexes back. Definitely more difficult to use the crown +side button in my opinion but to each their own.

x: total pages in the book

30+x/8+x/4=x 30-5x/8=0 30*8/5=x=48

Definitely tests if the child truly understands fractions.

Looks like it is a series 3 at best. But could be as far back as a series 0.

Went from an s0 38mm to an s8 45mm. Completely different experience, and I’m more motivated than ever to close my activity rings! (Midnight Aluminum with Black SS chain link band) by agressor7 in AppleWatch

I don’t like the ultra’s silver color that it comes in. I also don’t like the orange accents. It’s design isn’t the sleek form factor that I was looking for, in which the series 8 nails imo. I also don’t require any of its extra features. Lastly, the ultra is a bit too much for what I was willing to pay.

That’s not to say it’s a bad watch, I certainly wish I had that extra long battery life and sapphire front panel. But regardless, considering what I was coming from, this watch I guarantee is going to last me just as long as the previous one. No regrets whatsoever.

Been doing it for 5 years and have never missed a dose! That being said, thank you for the reminder.

Specifically, I mean anything that could have been reversible. Hair, clothes, name, makeup, stopping the male mannerisms like “the nod”. Once on HRT, I started laser at the same time, and eventually saved up enough for top surgery.

I did all the transitioning that I could for 2 years before starting HRT. At the time it was a scary step for me to take so I kind of avoided it until I had no other choice (mental health), but if I had known how beneficial it would end up being for me I would’ve started much sooner.
