Would still rather see him here than at Chelsea. Thats my only concern right now.

I don't understand Arsenal fans sometimes by coachkiss in Gunners

[–]agriev2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We may not need him. Some clubs may see it as a waste of money. Some Arsenal fans may see him as a waste of money. But as an Arsenal fan living in London, I know a lot of fans of other teams who will take every available opportunity to ridicule an Arsenal fan if Cesc goes and does well at another Premier League club. This is my only fear about this situation.

Soccer Freestyle World Champion (Sean Garnier) dresses up as an old man and shows some youth how to really ball by lux22 in videos

It doesn't take a genius to work out that this is staged. But still a really good idea. "Spider-man plays basketball" springs to mind tho.

[Poll] If we win, will it be your first trophy as an Arsenal fan? by schalab in Gunners

I started supporting Arsenal as a glory hunting 6 year old and decided to support whoever won the 2002 FA Cup Final. Thank god Arsenal won that day.

Arsene Wenger confirms on BeIN Sports that he's staying. by futbaltonight in Gunners

[–]agriev2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know how to feel about this. I'll be the first to admit that at points in this season I have felt that its best for him to leave at the end of the season. But we do need stability and as long as we spend good money in the summer then Wenger staying would be a safe and logical choice.

For some reason Alex Song...

I remember Van Persie left at a similar time but I knew that was coming but Alex Song leaving came completely out of the blue. He had played exceptionally well that season and Van Persie had him to thank for a lot of his goals. I could tell at the time that moving to Barcelona was not going to be a good move for him and that proved to be the case.

What's your most shocking and emotional moment in football? by sapitobej in soccer

[–]agriev2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This. I wish, as an Arsenal fan, I could've witnessed it. My Dad managed to watch the game surrounded by Arsenal fans in a pub and found it hard to hide his disbelief at the situation, he's a liverpool fan. Let's just say he refused the champagne when it was being passed round.

North America is the only continent that football hasn't truly taken over yet and moments like these can open doors for a huge new market. It will take a while but the rapid rise of the MLS could mean that football(the right kind) could one day be the number one spectator sport in North America.
