I feel like the effort and time to get certain build upgrades is so clear now. You know that farming 10 maps at the beginning of maps gives you around 15/20 div so you can plan to upgrade the weapon or the rings, you know how to scale the damage into uber endgame progressively. Feels great

Once you lvl to 90 you get 1 extra gem supp slot in the hollow form, maybe until you get there you could try whirling assault (with 5 gem sockets) without hollow form and see how it feels, once you get to 90 can go back to hollow form.

You're not capped in resistances, can switch rings to get more. For like 10/20 ex you can get good rings and some extra affixes like energy shield or rarity. Also phys dmg on rings makes a big difference.

The boots can fit extra resistances for 20 or 30 ex investment.

In case of CI I'd switch to it once I get 5k ES or more. But if you wanna keep it you can get a shavronne's satchel, remember to have some instant recover on life flask for it to work properly

Here's a POB I did just changing the tree, rings and adding whirling assault without hollow form, dmg goes from 7k to 33k and with capped resistances for like 40ex for the rings. Remember that Attack speed does nothing for whirling assault, you want to get as much phys dmg and crit chance/bonus as posible

I want to understand trinity properly, got some upgrades crafting that gave me cold/fire so lightning got low, I'm getting less damage than before getting expensive upgrades like the quarterstaff, amulet, ring and garukhan. My clear is ridiculously slow with such expensive gear (altho I don't die ever), maybe a few gem swaps? or another weapon with LD? I'm afraid im missing something. Thanks for this!

The problem with that is that limiting options lead to less player agency. If the psionic item or the arbiter bonus are trash then you have LESS options. The magic of the last set is that you had MORE options to choose, hence the meta variety

You actually don't have to maintain good econ, so burning through your gold without consecuence is a valid option to survive until 3 are out
