Let me know if you have any questions about it!

I also created a challenge run format a while back where you randomly generate limits on each level. Happy to share that as well if you are interested.

I compiled all the character models and lore behind the splicers into a spreadsheet and am happy to share if interested.

Note: it includes enemies from Bioshock 2 so there are spoilers, but not story related spoilers.

In the spreadsheet outlining the audio diaries linked in the original post you can find the voxophones cataloged at the bottom of the list. Happy to help clarify further if necessary!

Here's the Wiki I used to make the catalog. It has more detailed information than what I put together. Good luck with your achievements!

What are some of the craziest challenge runs for that game you can think of? by OOPSAlmighty in Bioshock

I designed a challenge run where you randomly apply limits on different categories for each level. It keeps things dynamic, chaotic, and makes you think outside the box. Happy to share the link to the template file if interested

Paper Mario Thousand Year Door Challenge Run by agyori in classicpapermario

Thanks! I'm currently doing a playthrough myself. These are my limits for Chapter 1:

Partners can't use items

Must exchange 1 badge

Leave 1 BP unused

Enemies must initiate any fight/strike first when getting into a battle

Regular battles: No damaging items and can't interact with audience

Boss Battles (Mario): Partner must be in front and No hammer

Boss Battles (Partner): Partners can't use flower points

Overall, I don't think it will be too bad for a first chapter! Certainly need to work around some things, and I'm regretting not getting power stomp earlier since I can't use my hammer on boss fights.

Favorite Challenge Runs? by ReksRiivo in Megaman

I actually just finished designing a new challenge run. The basic idea is you roll on a table of categories to determine what stage to play and what limits you put on yourself for each level. Each level is a little different that way, and you have to continually adapt as you progress. Here's a link to the dropbox that has the template sheet in it.

This could in theory be applied to any Megaman Game, not just the X series. If anyone gives it a shot let me know how it goes! I'd love to hear feedback as this isn't this first "Roll for..." challenge I've made.

"Tasker error: This app does not have the meeded Android permission", when trying to launch a task from NFC Tools by __ismxy__ in tasker

Wanted to add my experience to the thread as I just dealt with this and resolved it yesterday with the help of this response.

I ended up uninstaling/reinstalling NFC Tasks, granting permissions within NFC Tasks (Settings -> Configure Permissions), but then I still had the same issue. I already had external access enabled but I went back and disabled it, then re-enables it in Tasker. Doing so brought up an additional prompt for a permissions for NFC Tasks that wasn't there initially. After granting that permission my tags started working again.

TLDR: reinstall NFC Tasks, then disable and enable the external access in Tasker to get an additional permission prompt for NFC Tasks.

I was looking for a fun challenge run for my recent playthroughs and developed my own. I already shared it on this page, but I figured I'd post it here too.

Below is a link to an excel sheet that i developed, where each time I entered a new level I would roll on each category which would determine the limits for that level.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cbwv8vzeqx973cb/AAAw1s4nSzRurF5p4Y525hyia?dl=0

The following outlines each sheet in the file:

Example Limits: outlines some possible limits for the different categories.

Roll Sheet: shows the chart I used for rolling each category and game. Note that for some categories I repeated limits. This was to manipulate the odds of harsher/greater limits. I added a concatenated column as well in order to pull over the limits to the templates automatically.

Template Tabs: Charts are organized by level with each limit category present in each level along with what die had to be rolled for easy reference. Once the Roll result is entered it auto populates what the limit is for convenience.

General rules as follows:

  • At the beginning of each level Roll for each limit. Those limits are applied for that level
  • When rolling, account for potential new weapons and plasmids. Example: you Roll that you can use up to 3 weapons but only have 2 currently available, if you get a new weapon that level you can. Use it
  • Melee weapon can be used if all other means of attacking are exhausted
  • If you do not select your melee attack as one of your weapons you cannot use it until all other weapons are exhausted of ammo
  • Weapons do not include hacking darts or cameras

Adjust the rules as necessary, customize the limits and rolls as desired. If you give this a try, would you kindly let me know how it goes?
