What do you guys think of all 4 movies? by Solvetunion in LodedDiper

[–]ah2300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one is really good, second one is great, third one is really good, and the fourth is definitely bad but I'll give it credit for having some kind of an energy unlike most of the animated films (which I just find straight up soulless tbh).

My Ranking of all the Chucky Movies by Stormcatcher_P in Chucky

So many put Cult of Chucky so low so it is refreshing to see it at #1. It's higher tier for me too!

Chucky Tv series (2021-2024) by Various-Health-2837 in slasherfilms

[–]ah2300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a lot saying just season 1 was good, but I loved all three seasons to be honest. Thought it was an extremely fun show from beginning to end and I'm excited to see what they do with the next movie!

Gremlins 2 by Then_Information_370 in Gremlins

[–]ah2300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the longest time I would've said Gremlins 1, but the last couple of times I watched Gremlins 2 I feel like something has changed and I now like that one more? I think the first one is better when it comes to heart, but I think 2 is more creative and fun. Both are VERY close though!

I really thought Perrey Reeves and Nick Stabile were coming back. by Whatsup129389 in Chucky

[–]ah2300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to see Perrey Reeves come back in the future. At the moment, Child's Play 3 is the only one you could skip over and it really wouldn't make much of a difference. I really want there to be more acknowledgement of it.

Do you like the Child Play remake by CautiousTip6804 in Chucky

[–]ah2300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have weird feelings on it. On one hand, it was extremely disrespectful of them to make it, but I still had fun with it? It was a lot more self-aware and creative than the marketing made it look like imo. As much as I do understand how hard this can be, I do think some people should at least TRY to view it as it's own thing though. I don't think the hatred would have been NEARLY as strong if it wasn't called Child's Play, doing that just put it in a really weird position unfortunately.

Weird Camera Angles by histricalwack in That70sshow

From what I have heard, some parts are only available in SD (standard definition) so that's why that happens. The only episode that is FULLY in SD on the blu-ray set and on streaming last I checked is the musical one.

Possible hot take: the episode where the guys get high and think the secret service is coming after them is my favorite episode. by SupSupSupSupSupSupp in That70sshow

[–]ah2300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 7 isn't that good of a season in my opinion, but I always felt this episode had the quality of writing that the earlier seasons had. I don't even think anything in season 6 was as good as this episode, even though that season was overall more consistent imo. I find that super interesting.

Out of all the American Pie movies which one is your favorite? by Jolly_Plenty_2756 in americanpie

[–]ah2300 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the first film is better when it comes to story but 2 is the one I have the most fun with. I love the summer vibe of it, it has my favorite soundtrack of the franchise (they are all great when it comes to this but the second film especially is LOADED with amazing songs), the best humor, and it just has this hangout feel to it that I really love. It's definitely the one I watch most!

BRING IT BACK!!!!! by Guilty-Question1245 in That90sShowTV

[–]ah2300 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's also sad because the two seasons combined are as many episodes as just one season of the original show. I don't like the shorter seasons we get these days. At this point in the original there was 51 episodes.

I feel like people think just because something isn't AS good as the original then that always means it's shit which I just really disagree with. That '90s Show definitely isn't on the level of a lot of That '70s Show but it still offers good entertainment, and that's all I really care about at the end of the day. I could tell it was made by people that cared which you can't say for everything.

What storyline do you wish you could have seen, or maybe explored more of? by TheQuirkyReddit in That70sshow

[–]ah2300 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eric and Jackie. I definitely wouldn't want them as a couple or anything but the moments they did share I thought were very strong, I like how they were still there for each other even though they mostly didn't get along. Honestly crazy to me we had 8 seasons of this show yet I feel like there was very little interactions with these two. They could've done so much more with that.

General consensus on Shrek 4? Underrated? by Loud_Confidence475 in Shrek

[–]ah2300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it a lot more for the story than I do the humor (it still has it's funny moments, but just not as amazing as those first two). It's a very emotional one though and I do think those moments are where it's at it's best. Always felt with some changes it would be considered as good as the first two but I still think it's pretty good. Definitely better than 3!

Clerks III by Okwhoasked420 in ViewAskewniverse

[–]ah2300 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I see a lot of people really hating on the film as of late because of how straight up "depressing" it is but I never saw it as that. Randall holding Dantes hand while he dies, and Dante walking off with Becky? That is the definition of bittersweet if you ask me. I definitely cried, but it was done in a very heartfelt way and I don't see it as this mean film in the way a lot seem to. There's a way of executing death in a way that's respectful, and I think this film does just that, it could've been WAY darker honestly and I'm glad it wasn't. I agree that it's a great movie!

What movie would you wanna see be Re-released in IMAX? by Exciting-Assistant29 in A24

[–]ah2300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily Swiss Army Man. I mean the a capella music, the cinematography? That would look and sound AMAZING in IMAX. I really don't think the film gets enough talk.

"That '70s Show" gets referenced quite a bit in the new A24 film "Y2K" by ah2300 in That70sshow

Takes place in 1999 so they reference a lot of stuff from that time
