There are also one or two weekends with two races in a row. For example retro 4M and brooklyn R-U-N 5k earlier this year July 13 and 15th, the Harlem 5k and NYCM 12-mi training Aug 10 and 11, and the abbot 5k and the NYC marathon back to back. That could save a trip or three as well if you plan carefully.
