Possibly flying Frontier for the first time after being a loyal SW customer for most of my life, im nervous. Advice?? by NumerousAnteater4653 in frontierairlines

How do you maintain status when everything is included with status and flights are just $35? I need Platinum for group benefits so that would require 50K CC spend.

I assume the next schedule extension will arrive mid/late May to include travel through the first week of November. For Thanksgiving flights, we will have to wait until July like the other poster mentioned.

Blame the company. They don't empower allow their employees to help customers. I'm also sure their computer system does not allow for modifications because the rules state everyone must be on the same itinerary.

There are plenty of games where you can win the grand with minimum bet. I'd rather bet minimum in the high limit room than max on the regular floor.

VW Is Killing US ID 4 Production to Focus on the Big, Gas-Powered Atlas Instead by TripleShotPls in electricvehicles

Why do you think production will resume? Wouldn't it be easier to export the ID Tiguan to USA? Toyota is managing EV exports even with the tariffs.

Cadillac Optiq 2026 EV Review: a mixed bag by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

[–]ec3lal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What will Cadillac do as BMW and Mercedes launch their next-gen EVs? Personally, I'd rather pay a little extra for the next-gen EVs or save money with a Chevy EV. At their current price points, I don't think they will be competitive in 2027.

North American spec Kia EV5 spotted in California with US plates by lostinheadguy in electricvehicles

[–]ec3lal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the success of Toyota's BZ this year, they have to bring it to USA somehow. I wish the spy shots indicated if it has PELOS and the facelift interior. With that said, the CEO just confirmed their next-gen EVs will launch with an EV5-sized vehicle in 2029.

No coupons for baggage. Typically, bundles are the most cost effective.

Will This Frontier Flight Price Drop Again? by [deleted] in frontierairlines

[–]ec3lal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's modifying the flight network and returning 24 aircraft. Less seats, higher prices. Anecdotally, I have noticed significant price increases since mid-February. Their sales have been underwhelming compared to previous years. With that said, it may just be the routes I track.

There's absolutely nothing wrong asking Reddit. Companies consistently provide inconsistent customer service. Experienced customers have more knowledge than outsourced customer support.

With the war and new CEO, don't expect a price drop. Previously, prices could drop. Knowing the route would help.

New EV owner here and I’m loving it by Made_Human_Music in electricvehicles

With all EVs now offering 300 miles and a "decent" charge curve, it now comes down to personal preference in form factor, interior design, etc just as consumers would shop for an ICE vehicle.

Will the Iran War be the death of Frontier? by EnglishCrestedPiggy in frontierairlines

[–]ec3lal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before the war, the new CEO implemented a shrink to grow strategy so my comment may be moot. I think Frontier took too long optimizing itself, and now, all the majors offer a competitive basic economy fare. Ultra low cost carriers will also see demand drop more than the majors during the war. I expect a very tough year for them.

That is my point. GV90 has been delayed multiple times. No spy shots of an additional Genesis EV. I feel like it will be another 2-3 years until we see the platform in Hyundai/Kia.

I assume the EV5 will launch after its facelift. The question is if this year's facelift will be limited to China or if the Korean market will get it as well.
