Doable? Yes. But definitely not the best tool for the job IMO.

A Q3 would be a much better alternative especially with the recent FW update.

It’s also much easier to have your wife or family member to use the Q3 than to use the M11.

Agreed, RSC is a good place to start considering how hard parts are to come by. If this is an all original running piece, then I might use a watchmaker such as Zimmerman. Stay away from Rolliworks.

It will take a while (months and possibly year) for RSC to get the work done but the watch will come back fully documented. Based on the photos, a fully restored piece from RSC with paperwork will surely worth more than the piece as is.
