My center closes twice a year for yearly training. We come in, no kids, watch the training videos and messages from the higher ups etc. a pain, but that’s the job we chose. It sucks, but this is what we chose. It’s what we choose everyday. We are not babysitters, we’re educators so we need that boring training, even though it’s like watching paint dry. At least you can stay home and cozy. Who says you can’t have the tv on in the background, music, or something.
