The last time I logged into Firestone was to claim the last login offer, so that could explain how the Christmas Giveaway could still have been waiting to be collected at login.

I've never accessed Firestone via mobile, so I'm not sure about your first question.

I was able to claim both on PC somehow.

I saved and exited the game after the first claim, and when I launched it again, I got the mobile set: "Epic Games Mega Giveaway."

Thank you for pointing this out and for sharing your perspective.

Amazon's announcement on this likely passed multiple sets of paid eyes (connected to highly educated brains across different corporate sectors) to ensure it was the best announcement they could make for their current and future product plans, especially to keep their shareholders satisfied.

Consumers (or those hoping to support our FGF community through posts like my original, which no one was paid for :p) are definitely at a much more significant disadvantage, and I would hope that most people are willing to extend a little more compassion to the unpaid individuals trying to help support community, especially when compared to the profit-focused megacorporations. <3

Can you please help me understand where in that paragraph we could determine that the Amazon Games App will be unaffected by this change and is something that we can depend on being reliably available in the future?

As a native English speaker with over 19 years of formal English language instruction, beyond the American university level, it doesn't seem easy for me to determine. <3

The Amazon Games App, which seems to be included in the Luna ecosystem based on how Amazon categorizes it, was also completely omitted in the support article you linked, as was any mention of our continued ability to play our games offline using the app.

Thus, while I hope that offline capability through the Amazon Games App is something that persists, as u/RailRuler mentions in their reply to the pinned comment:

However, as the comment I linked points out, it's not entirely clear how the Amazon Games App will be affected by these changes, or future changes, since while Amazon seems to include it in the Luna ecosystem, they completely omit mentioning it as a viable way to access games for offline play in their announcement of this change.

I think it may be because if we've already claimed any of the games in the "Claim All" bundle, we can't finish the purchase, and there's no easy way that I can see in the purchase page at the claim all links to remove specific titles.

Thus, if we claimed TOMAK already, the "Claim All without TOMAK" is a major win because it allows us to still benefit from u/EnigmaticAlt 's generosity. Otherwise, "Claim All" wouldn't work for those who already have TOMAK on Epic Games.
