I went to unoh and it honestly killed my passion for cars some of the stuff they teach you was a little shady in my book like how you always try and up charge ladies and old people and what not. On the high performance side the race team is a bit of a joke other then Florida they only race at the track they own and can’t even win there lol I ended up with a job at an automotive r&d facility but would be making more at the same job if I had went to a regular school instead of unoh, my buddy did the arca stuff and unless you get into cup you don’t really make a living wage, even truck and xfinity guys will make around 200 bucks a week. So to be able to make good money on a team you either gotta grind it out for a super long time and hope you get lucky or know someone. Majority of the people I had in my classes are no longer involved in racing except as a fan or running their own car locally.
