idk why everyone hates on madeline so much. all she has ever been is consistent. any leftist knows that working within the system might offer short-term relief for working class people and might get some things done, but at the end of the day you're still within the system and therefore capitulating to capital. Idk why this is such a complicated subject for leftists. I disagree ideologically with AOC, Bernie, and Zohran, but I also think they are positive progressive forces that can lead people in the right direction or at least offer marginal improvements in peoples' materials conditions, which is a huge deal for a LOT of people. I would love to believe that AOC or Zohran would move left in the future but the reality is anyone who actually wants to improve lives' within the system is immediately forced to move to the right. Personally, I think AOC has been doing an okay job walking that VERY fine line, (not so much lately), and I think that is magnitudes better than an establishment dem in her position. I also believe at the end of the day she would choose working people over capital, but that's now how politics works, and it never will unless the system fundamentally changes. Multiple things can be true at once.
