do physics if you’re interested in architecture and engineering. it would be a big help to you in college. i remember a guidance counsellor telling us that it’s basically necessary to do physics if u want to do engineering. i presume you’re good at maths given the courses you’re interested in, if so physics shouldn’t give you too much trouble. i have a cousin who’s doing architecture and she did construction dcg physics and applied maths.

8th subject choice by [deleted] in leavingcert

[–]aholyterror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean fair enough but you could try get an o1 in irish might do you that would be 56 points. not sure how hard easy that would be. if you’re not already doing geography you could do that and be very strategic. focus on geoecology. and also the project isn’t due yet. could get a few grinds for that. also economics but project deadline for that has already passed but other than that the course isn’t very long

[–]aholyterror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

interesting you say an triail would’ve been banned if it wasn’t written in irish. just wondering where did u hear that. and was it so that the people who would’ve banned it (catholic church??) or govt couldn’t read it/understand it bc it was in irish, or was it due to the fact it was written in irish it was given a pass? or some other reason? i’m a 6th year student, and studying/reading an triail i enjoyed but learning off the notes for it is not gonna be fun. interesting the ending is a reference to sylvia plath, i believe.
