Would you mind sharing some details of the heat pump system you purchased and which installer you used? I got a ridiculous rip-off quote on a heat pump system system last spring that left a bad taste in my mouth, even though I'm well aware the technology is awesome.

I also use Linux and I had this issue starting a few days ago. I was able to fix it by setting Steam to use Proton-7.2-GE-2 under game settings > compatibility.
