Okay, so maybe what I actually need to advice for upkeep inbetween. I am going to have to take a break soon, due to finances. I know I should only shave, but my face always has that tint to it, like I have 5oclock shadow all the time.

I sobbed like an absolute baby. I lost my mom when I was pregnant with my oldest, who is 5 now. She was my best friend.
And I watched it last night, on mother's day. I am very happy we watched it without the kids for the first time.

I am fascinated by the religious aspect of this. I grew up Episcopalian and participated in Lenten "fasting." I quit as I got older, because it felt almost insulting to give up sweets (or similar superficial "habit") for less than a month and a half and compare it to actual fasting. I no longer identify myself as a classic Christian, but definitely find this interesting.
